My Rite Aid Trip this week

Awe.... The love I have for Rite Aid is simple. It goes a little like this:

The deals are HOT this week at Rite-Aid. Unfortunately I waited until Thursday to do my shopping trip so a lot of the items that I wanted were gone. For all of the match-ups head over to Fabulessly Frugal.

My OOP was $12.09 My Savings was $57.00. Plus I have $7.00 in +Up Rewards to spend on my next shopping trip. So, with that being said I paid $5.09 OOP. I did this in 3 transactions and on each receipt I received the $3.00 off a $15.00 purchase survey. You bet I'll be calculating out some great deals for next week.

Albies Run w/ Doublers

I'm pretty proud of my trip to Albertsons this morning.... after the gym w/ Austin. He did really good as long as he had a cookie in hand. I didn't need anything real specific, just a few items here and there we were running low on. Plus some freebies like the Bagel bites, 2 bottles of Sierra Mist, all 4 boxes of Green Giant Veggies and as I was checking out the produce guy came up and told the cashier that he needed to get rid of the 2 lbs. of green beans and he hated to just throw them away. They were not out dated just a few brown spots on a few of the beans. I told him that I would gladly take them off his hands.

The Finish Dishwashing detergent is $2.99 and I had $2.25 coupons. I got 12 boxes last week and 3 coupons left for this week. I paid $.74 ea. Can you say stocked up for a while? I love doing that!!
My total OOP (out of pocket) was drum roll please...................... $6.21 that INCLUDES tax!!
Unfortunately I was not watching close enough and she "forgot to take one of the $2.25 finish coupons off, after looking at my receipt after being home, so it should have cost me $3.96. Darn her!! I hate it when that happens! Oh well all in all great buy and EVERYONE should be couponing! I can not stress this enough!!

Why I LOVE Albertson's "Twice the Value" Coupons!!

I went to Albies this morning to get on some good deals this week. To my surprise there were "twice the value" coupons in today's paper. WooHoo for couponers in the Treasure Valley!!

Albertsons run this morning

I set my alarm this morning for 7:00 a.m. and 3 minutes before 7 I was wide awake and ready to go, shut my alarm off so that it wouldn't wake up the hubby and I was on my way to Albertsons.
2 Albertsons and 6 transactions later I came home with all of this for $7.18. That includes tax.

I was so excited about all that I got. I won't list all the details. If you would like to e-mail me on any transactions then please leave a comment and I will get back to you!
I had my dear son guess how much it all cost me. Knowing that I coupon shop and wouldn't have left the house THAT early if it wasn't a good deal he guessed $7.00. Good kid, I was letting him know how much some of the items would have cost me without coupons and he said "So, actually it was like buying the 4 BBQ sauces and 3 of the Weber seasonings and everything else was FREE!" I said "YEP, that's exactly what it comes down to!"

Rite Aid Trip

I know... I know... I haven't posted in quite sometime. I have been getting all of the really good deals at Albertsons but I have failed to post them. My bad!!

But tonight that changes. I went to Rite Aid to get in on the B1G1 deal on Cover Girl products. Wooh, Did I ever!!

2 gallons of milk $1.99/ea
4 starbursts $.88/ea.
4 skittles $1.49/ea.
2 Covergirl & Olay Simply Ageless foundations
1 Covergirl exact eyelights Mascara
1 Covergirl line exact Eyeliner

I used 2 B1G1 Starburst Q, 2 B1G1 Skittles Q, 2 B1G1 Covergirl Q from 2/7 RP and I also used $5/$20 RA Video Q

All said and done my total came to $1.52! Of coarse I paid tax that brought my final total to $3.35 OOP.

What a great trip to Rite Aid. I just love free make-up!! (Especially when it is the expensive stuff. $15.99 is expensive to me, that's how much the Covergirl foundation WOULD have cost me had I paid for it!)

It has been a long time since I have posted anything. With the Holidays and everything I just gave up couponing for a while. After cleaning out my coupon binder and getting rid of all of those expired coupons I had I was ready to re-vamp and go out and get some great deals.

I went to Albertsons this morning to get in on the great Procter & Gamble Promo.

I bought 4 Pantene products

4 Crest toothpastes

2 Dawn Renewel Dish Soap

My total OOP was $11.81

Plus I got a $10.00 Cat to use on my next purchase. Guess what? I am going back tonight before the sale ends to get some more fabulous deals. If my figures are right my OOP will be $6.xx plus I will get another $10.00 Cat.

My Albertson trip this morning

So we got the double coupons in todays ad from Albertsons. I made a quick trip this morning before everything was gone. :-)

This is what I got in my 1st transaction:

I used fabulessly frugal and the krazy coupon lady for the best deals and scenarios. Please go to their sites to click and print most of the coupons for this fabulous promo!!

4 bxs of Trix
7 bxs of Progresso Chicken Broth
3 Knorr Pasta side dishes
2 Totinos Pizza Rolls
1 Betty Crocker Frosting
1 Betty Crocker Augratin Potatoes (this is the only coupon that I was able to double with this promo)

5 Danimals crush cups and drinkable yogurts. I had 5 $1/1 coupons and doubled 2 of them. They are priced right now at Albies for 2/$3.00. Yes, that means I made a profit on these and only paid $.50 for all 5.

Without the promo and coupons all of this would have cost me $74.95 Of coarse I would never pay that!! :-)

I paid OOP $10.56. Of coarse that was using all of my coupons and $15.00 cats from my previous shopping trip. Plus I got $15.00 catalina to use on my next purchase.

This is how Albertsons paid me $4.44 to shop there!!!

My next transaction I purchased 18 Treetop juice boxes. (3 per pkg.) I used 3 $1/2 coupons that I purchased from ebay and 3 double coupons and that total came to $.18. All I paid was tax on this transaction. I plan to go buy some more of these fabulous drinks. They are perfect for school lunches or just my toddler when he is thirsty. He loves to feel like a big boy drinking from those cute little boxes!!

The Meridian Middle School Bizarre

Thank you for everyone today who I met at the Meridian Middle School Bizarre. It was a lot of fun to get out of the house and "mingle" with some fellow coupon lovers.

A big thank you to those ladies for purchasing my Coupon Binders. Please feel free to contact me any time. Trust me when I say..."No question is a dumb question". Especially when it comes to couponing. It can get very frustrating at times. Don't give up, with a little time and a lot of patience you will be a pro in no time.

I did this deal in 2 transactions. Right now at Albertsons the 3 pack of Treetop juice bxs. are 10/$10.00. Using 4 $1/2 Treetop Juice found in today's SS and 2 that I printed from coupons.com. Doubled all of them. Total OOP $.36 for 36 drink boxes. All I had to pay was tax.

I also took advantage of the General Mills Promo, the Pillsbury catalina deal and the Betty Crocker catalina deal.

I used various printable coupons for the Betty Crocker fruit snacks from here and used 2 Albies blinkies $1/3 coupons for the crescent rolls.

I had 1 $1 coupon found inside the Life Savers bag and the Winto Green ones are on clearance right now for $.99. And I also used $10.00 catalina from Friday nights deals.

I paid $15.36 OOP and received 1~$10.00, 1~$3.50, and 1~$3.00 Catalinas to use on my next order.=$16.50

With that being said Albertsons paid me $1.14 to buy all of these items.

My trip to Target this morning

I paid $38.14 OOP + I received a $5.00 Gift Card for the Fiber One Promo. Just look at all of the stuff that I got! I saved $77.50. Now that was a frugalistic deal!

10 boxes of very cheap General Mills Cereal. Click on link to see all details here.

10 boxes of Pop Tarts. A fellow couponer handed me her 5 $1/2 coupons and there were 10 $.75 Target coupons sitting in front of the pop tarts. Those combined =$.21/ea. Woo Hoo!

3 Glade Tins 3/$5.00 = $1.66/ea. but wait, inside the tins were a $1.50 coupon. So those were $.16 ea. In one of the recent inserts their were free refills with a purchase of the tins. I got 3 refill packs for free.

2 Visibly Smooth Dove Deodorants. Click here for a $2.00 coupon from Dove and Target also has a $1.00 off coupon at A Full Cup. Just so you know this is where I print out all of my Target coupons. It is the best site and you can print out as many as you would like! The price was $3.34. With a $2 manufacture coupon + $1 Target coupon it was $.34/ea. (I will never pay full or even half price for deodorant ever again :-) This one is thanks to Fabulessly Frugal. Love that site!

20 Market Pantry Market String Cheese. Totally free I might add! A full cup has $1.00 for any 2 Market Pantry Cheese items. They are $.40 ea. The cashier adjusted the coupons to $.80. So there was no MM, but still free.

1 Swiffer WetJet. I have been wanting to try these out soooo bad. They were on sale for $17.99. I had a $5.00 off from Homemade Simple booklet and used a FREE refill when you buy a Starter Kit from 8/30 P&G = $12.99 + Full bottle of refill cleaner free. A $4.79 value.

My thrifty trip to Albertsons

We got 3 Albertsons doubles in yesterdays' Idaho Press Tribune. The best part of that is that I get 4 Sunday papers. YAY! That equals 12 double coupons. You can double a coupon up to $1.oo. A couple of these scenarios I got from Fabulessly Frugal , and A Thrift Mom.

I got 1 9 pack of 3 ply Quilted Northern, 4 containers of Lysol wipes, 3 6 packs of Arrowhead water, 2 Fat free International Delight coffee creamers, 2 Mt. Olive relishes, 3 Velvetta Shells and Cheese Cups, 1 loaf of bread, 1 Hershey bar and a pack of gum (the last 2 were fillers)
All for $5.10 OOP. Before coupons, doubles and Catalinas my total was $53.05. I saved $47.95.

Here is the breakdown:
The bread was $2.50 and on the package it had $1 coupon + doubler = $.50

The relish was $1.69. I used $.75 coupon + doubler = $.19/ea.

The water was $.87/ea. I did not have coupons for that. (my comp. wouldn't print them. UGH! Still very cheap water)

The Lysol wipes were 2/$2. used 4/$1 coupon + doublers = free

Velvetta Shells and Cheese $1/ea. used $1/2 = $.25/ea.

Creamer was $1.89. used $1 coupon + doubler = better than free. He did not adjust the price of the doubler down to $.89. So it was $.22 MM.(money maker)

The Quilted Northern was on sale for $5.99. used $1 coupon + doubler = $3.99 (good price for expensive TP.)

I also used $5.00 cat from the ongoing promo and $1 cat from the Velvetta promo.

With that being said this is what I got in my 1st transaction
My total before coupons was $51.78. Would I spend that much for 8 jars of Peanut butter and 4 bottles of Laundry soap?? Heck NO!! With coupons and double coupons my OOP was $19.50 + I got $15.00 worth of Catalinas.

10 Ragu sauces, 2 boxes of Reeses cereal, 3 Cake mixes, 2 Suave shampoos, 1 Best Foods Mayonnaise and 1 Chex Mix. My total before coupons, doubles and catalinas for this one would have cost me $64.68. I paid OOP $4.25 + another $15.00 Catalina for my next purchase.

With that being said. My total OOP for todays trip to Albertsons was $23.75 + $15.00 Cat for next time. Or if I figure it like most of the coupon ladies it would equal to be $8.75 for $116.46 worth of items.

We had such a wonderful time at the Race track this weekend. We were happy to take my sister Angie, her husband Jeff and their daughter Kayla for an 8 hour drive to Washougal, WA.

Thanks to Roy and Lori for letting us stay with them. What a beautiful and picturesque place they have.

Very Thrifty Deal @ Albertsons

With the help from Fabulessly Frugal and Krazy Coupon Lady I was able to get this fabulous deal at Albertsons today.

The Albies at Cherry & 10 Mile only had 2 of the Playtex gloves left, so I had to improvise with a bottle of Mrs. ButterWorths syrup instead. I had a $1.00 coupon for it so it ended up being just $.75.

EPIC KELLOGG'S DEAL

I ordered 10/$1.00 coupons from Ebay for this Kelloggs deal. I received my coupons in the mail today so as soon as my husband got home from work I ran to Albies.

I bought 10 boxes of Kelloggs cereal and 10 cups of Kraft Mac and Cheese (Austin can't get enough of these) No coupons for those though :-(

Right now Albies Kelloggs cereal is $1.88/box. (you buy 5 bxs at a time they take $5.00 off instantly making them $1.88) I used 10 $1.00 Kelloggs coupons. Doubled 5 of those coupons and plus used a $2.00 Catalina from a survey I filled out a couple of days ago. My doubles were for .88 making 5 boxes free right off the bat! My total OOP was $9.35. That is including tax. My receipt stated that I saved $55.09 and I received another $2.00 questionnaire survey.

Without factoring in the Mac & Cheese and the $2.00 survey the cereal was $4.35. The best part of this deal is I am sending in my receipt for a $10.00 rebate.

Guess what?? This transaction has turned out to be a $5.65 MONEY MAKER!!

You can't beat that deal can you?

Last Weekends McCall Trip

I am late getting this post up. We ventured up to McCall last weekend with my sister, her husband their 2 daughters, a grand daughter, my son, his best friend and neighbor, Larry, Austin, and I. Whew! There was a lot of us.

Besides the encounter with a bear that the 2 boys had on a trail while riding their bicycles. They dropped their bikes and took off running through a swampy area. Thankfully they made it back to the cabin. Larry and Jeff went to retrieve the bikes and sure enough their was bear "doo" on the trail. Chase promised me to never ride that trail again. We'll see how long that promise lasts.

But I have to say, I loved every minute of it. It was a lot of fun. Hopefully we will get to do it again real soon. (w/out the bear encounter please)

Zoo Boise

I didn't just shop at Target today. Me and my boys went to The Boise Zoo this morning. Before it became too excruciatingly hot.
The sling on Chase's arm is a whole other story. As most of you know. We had a lot of fun just the 3 of us. Here are some photos to prove it!!

Another trip to Target

Thanks to Deal Seeking Mom for this one!! I was able to get all of this stuff for $6.45 OOP. Most of the scenarios are listed on her website. Scroll all the way down to print out all of the Eggo Bake Shop coupons.
The Nexcare bandages I had 6 $1.00 coupons and they were $.97/ea. The cashier did not even adjust the coupon down. WooHoo!!
The Degree Deodorant and the Spray were $3.29. I paid $.04/ea. w/ my $1.25 coupon and the Target $2.00 coupon. Very nice deal.
The Huggies wipes were $1.97/ea. and I had a $1.00 coupon making them $.97/ea.
The Kotex light days pads are found in the travel size section and they were $1.02. I had $1.00 coupon for each making them only $.02/ea.

The total bill came to $31.19 before coupons and tax. Like I said before I paid $6.45 (including tax)

Very Cheap Milk From Albertsons

I went to Albies again tonight to grab some very cheap milk. They have it on sale right now 3 gallons of their Shoppers Value for $5.00. Which is cheap.... but not cheap enough for this coupon lady!

I used 2 of the $.75 printable coupons from coupons.com. And then doubled the coupons. The double coupons were in your daily paper today, or you can easily ask customer service for an ad at any Albertson's and they will happily give you one.

So after the coupons and doubles I paid $2.19 for 3 gallons of milk. That is including tax!!

Nice deal huh. Let me know if you need any help with this scenario. I will be happy to help you all get milk for $.73 a gallon.

Albertson's last night

Last night was the last night of this sale, so I had to go after I got off of work at 10:30 last night, but it was well worth it.

I had coupons for everything of coarse and when you spent $25.00 on Conagra products you receive a $10.00 Catalina. My total was $25. and something and with my coupons and my Catalina from last week it came to $10.61 + I received another $10.00 Catalina. Which made all of these products $.61.
I bought 8 Healthy Choice meals, 3 Marie Callenders' Pasta Al' Dentes (My new found favorite) and 3 Chef BoyArdees for Austin.

Wow and after seeing today's Albertsons ad I am going to get more freebies!! Yeah Doubles again!!

I just have to let my few readers that I do have know about You Data. I know that I have mentioned them before. But yesterday I bought a Thomas and Friends DVD for my little Austin from Ebay.
I was pleasently surprised when I won this and quickly went through Pay Pal to pay.

For the last 2 weeks I have been viewing ads from You Data and the $$ goes directly in to my pay pal account every Friday. Well, It's not much but I had accumulated $4.66. The DVD was $1.82 + $2.99 for shipping. So buy paying through my pay pal account my transaction amount debited from my checking account was only $.15. I was so freakin excited when I read that. Great weekend at Idaho City

No couponing for me the last few days, I was too busy making memories with my family.

Sometimes you gotta pick and choose. I chose a family getaway (in the mud) with our very courageous sidekicks...The other Foxes.

We had so much fun. The rain, the mud, the enormous puddles. That didn't stop these boys from having the time of their lives.

As you can see we are a dirt bike riding family, well Susan and I are not of coarse but everyone else is and Austin is on his way. Too soon for me probably, but in his mind he already is!

I receive 4 Idaho Press Tribune papers every Sunday now and in one of my papers I received 2 extra P&G coupon inserts. That gave me 6 P&G inserts all together.

I was pretty excited about that!

I made my yearning trip to Target this morning. I have had my $4.00/10 Smart ones coupon just burning a hole in my coupon book. So this morning with Larry home watching our slightly ill child I ran to Target.

The Smart Ones were on sale for $1.80. If you buy 10, you get a $5.00 GC. So duh, I bought 20 of them. Not realizing w/ the gift card and w/ my $4/10 coupon I actually only paid $1.40 ea.

That my friends is a good price for these very yummy, healthy meals. My favorite is the Spicy Szeshuan Style Vegetables & Chicken!

The 3 Crystal Light packs I picked up for free. Printed out coupons from here. The Soft Scrub Pads were on sale for $2.04 and I had a BOGO coupon. Sweet! I needed these for our camp trailer.

My total OOP was $30.01 + $10.00 in GC.

Not bad for a quick trip to Target.

My Grand Target Deal for the week

The Sobe Life water was B1G1. It was $1.00. I wanted to try it out. Good stuff I might add. (black and blueberry... yum)
I went to the Aquafresh website here to print out the $1.25 coupon for a free trial. This was also a money maker. It was $.97 and she took off the full amount of the coupon.
Like I need more chocolate in my house. Can't resist the free bliss bars. 8 total.
The edge shaving gel I got for $.49/ea. can't beat a price like that can you?

I also had to buy my little monkey a new Ricky Carmichael bike. (His NEE NEE) It kept him happy all through the store and all the way home.
I also purchased a nice polo shirt for Chase. ($6.99) He graduates from Elementary tomorrow and needed a nice collared shirt! Oh my goodness my baby is going to be in Middle School next year. Sigh of relief actually, we were all wondering if he was going it make it. With a little tutoring this summer, he should be fine!

I don't have a whole lot of time, Larry is chomping at the bit to get the camper loaded and ready to go, but I wanted to quickly let everyone know about my Target deal this morning. My Albertson's doubles were AWESOME as well, but I don't have time to list every deal I get. :-) (Free Smore's stuff and 8 free Treetop juice boxes. all total 24 juice boxes... totally free)

Anyway back to my Target deal: 2 Kashi Go Lean Waffles, 3 bxs. 100 Cal. oreo cakesters, 3 bxs. Ritz Bits cheese crackers, 1 Lipton cold brew, 4 sugar free Kool-aid mixes, 1 Gillette Body Wash, 2 Travel size Coppertone sun block, 1 huggies baby wipes, 2 Travel size Wet Ones, 3 Travel size Right Guard Sport, 11 Hershey's Bliss bars. (for those of you hwho haven't tried these...let me just tell you. YUMMY)

I paid................................$12.88 (this includes tax)

At Walmart where I saved over $20.00 I gave this gentleman 2 coupons for the Kraft salad dressing. Price was $1.58 and I had 2 extra $1.50 coupons. All he had to pay was .08 + tax. He was very greatful and at Target I handed a lady .75 coupon for the huggies wipes. That feels awesome to do things like that. I am very blessed with my life and with my couponing. If I can help out a little bit with someone and help them save money that is priceless.

Well, the morning started out great. As soon as Austin woke up I was ready to go, I fed and clothed him and we were out the door. The first Albertson's he did great and so did Mommy.
Total OOP (Out of Pocket)
drum roll please..... $.63 All I had to pay was tax. I never thought in my wildest dreams that when I went grocery shopping, I would need to grab change from my change jar. I was scrummaging through my purse for pennines.

WOW $.68
$.24 for the Bagelfuls, $.24 for the Pasta dinners, $.15 for the TP and FREE for the bread and cookies.
The double coupon days are over now so I won't list the details. I did this in 3 transactions and 2 stores. On 2 of them it printed out free catalina's for the cookies and the free bread. Yummy sour dough garlic.

This one wasn't as great, but still good. I find myself disappointed when I don't just pay tax now. huh?

I lost my receipts for the Easy Mac bowls, but the Triscuits and the Wheat Thins were free, just had to pay $.15 and the Kraft dressing and the A1 was $4.05 My total for all of this was
$4.20 + I think another $4.00 for 8 Easy Macs.

2 cookies and a little screaming for this or that later we were on our way home.

Quick trip to Target

I made a quick run to Target this morning. Having Austin I never know how much time I am going to get to shop before he starts turning into a monster. So before I hit the isles I got him an icee and a choc. chip cookie to keep him occupied. I made sure he had a motorcycle in one hand and his binki in the other.
Couponing is time consuming when you are trying to figure out the very best scenarios. I had heard of the following scenarios that I wanted to take advantage of. I ran to Walmart tonight b/c now that I am so coupon focused I didn't realize that we were out of coffee and ketchup. Larry told me over dinner "If you don't have a coupon for ketchup, does that mean that your not going to buy it anymore" Oops. Well Austin needed diapers and I knew of a couple deals so I ran in.

My trips by myself always seem to last a little longer than normal. I enjoy going up and down the isles. Searching out the deals that I can get. They must have figured out that the $1.00 Isle had Nabisco Cheeze-Its and took them away or they were sold out. I was going to stock up from the $1.00 Nabisco Target coupon. Oh well I found some other good deals and they won't cost my waist line anything :-)

Their was a huge display of Mr. Clean in the center of an isle. included with each bottle was a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. They were marked down to $2.50/ea. I had BOGO coupon from 5/3 insert so I picked up 4 bottles.
I also got the Cascade Crystal Clear rinse agent for free from the Home Made Simple booklet which I received in the mail.
And I had 3 $1.00 coupons for any huggies baby product, so I picked up 3 travel size baby wipes for free.

With all that being said I spent $5.00 for everything that you see! That was my great find for the evening.

Cutter Mosquito Repellent

I got a tip from my sister in law about Walgreen's today. They have their mosquito repellent on clearance for $3.89. I purchased two w/ 2 coupons from smartsource printables here.

We go camping a lot in the summer time and she knew that we had better stock up.

It was $0.00 out of pocket b/c I had RR from earlier this week that I used. But even if you don't have RR, this a really good price. Only $1.89

Good day at Walmart

I warned my husband before we left the house that I was going to be coupon shopping. But he said that since I was complaining that we don't spend enough time together that he wanted to go. So we packed up our toddler and headed to Walmart. I bought a few extra's that I didn't have coupons for so the bill came to $84.00. Without coupons and freebies it would have cost me $103.00.

My greatest find were 3 boxes of Nabisco Cheese Nips for free w/ the Target $1.00/coupon. They have a $1.00 Isle now. They also accept Target coupons. I discovered that a couple of weeks ago. I also purchased to bags of Chex Mix for $.98 ea. Using 2 of the $1/coupons from Target.com.

By now my husband and Austin were getting a little ansy and were ready to leave. So I didn't get all of the deals that I wanted to.

Still it was a pretty good day. Oh and of coarse I stopped by the All You booth and received 3 free Schick razors and 5 free poise pads. Hey, they were free. The gal at the booth was so excited that I already knew about the All You magazine and that I was a subscriber. I said of coarse with all of those coupons in there why wouldn't anyone be a subscriber.

Well, I just got back from a morning with my Mother in Law. It was fun we went to Office Depot, Old Navy and to Bath and Body Works. I got a couple of T-shirts at Old Navy for $1.97 each. Then went to Bath and Body works, she was buying something any way so she used my coupon that I had for a free 3 oz. bottle of lotion with any purchase. Sweet deal there.

She took me and my son out to lunch. What a deal. I owe her several lunches by now.
Then on my way home I decided to stop by Walgreen's. I had a $10.00 RR from my Aveeno purchase burning a hole in my Coupon Book.

I got all of this for $3.33 including tax. What a deal huh??
Free Tote today only w/ any purchase. All of the other stuff of coarse w/ coupons. I can't seem to buy anything now w/out a coupon. It's great huh? I am so thrilled! I also bought some bubbles for Austin. He needs to take a nap first; then we'll try them out.
